The Ghost Dinner Band

Hey everyone! Just stopping in again today to introduce you to another great indie band. Coming to you from the state of New Hampshire, I give you The Ghost Dinner Band! I spent the better part of this past summer following my favorite band, Lit On the Flash, all over the great state of Maine and New Hampshire. It was at a show in Newmarket, NH, at The Stone Church (yes, this place is an actual bar housed in a converted church... complete with stained glass windows bearing the likenesses of Frank Zappa and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few! If you are ever in or around Newmarket, I highly suggest you check this place out- you will not be disappointed!) that I was introduced to The Ghost Dinner Band. I had no idea what I was in for! Lit On the Flash was there to open this particular show for them and it was also their first time playing a gig with this band, so I had no point of reference for what to expect. I did the natural thing and found them on Facebook, which led me to their ReverbNation page. I listened to a few tunes and thought this could be an interesting show... and then their set started. I can sum up the first act for you in two words: HOLY SHIT! The Ghost Dinner Band is made up of Kyle Webber, lead guitar/vocals; Josh Blair, bass/vocals; Nate Bosworth, guitar and Eric Boulter, percusion. From their Facebook bio: "Nobody is ever quite sure what to expect at a Ghost Dinner Band show. Nobody will tell you the same thing either. The best way to describe it is a whole century of rock music thrown at you in an eclectic time warp played with a surprising integrity, and feel for what you crave." I couldn't have said it better myself! With a throwback sound that could easily place them with some of the all-time greats from the 60's and 70's, The Ghost Dinner Band is a raucous, well-oiled, no apologies, in your face rock n roll experience that you will never forget! The best thing you could do for yourself at this point is to give them a listen and draw your own conclusions. But since you're here, let me help you out... this band kicks some serious ass and the world needs to know about it!
